As a small business we found ourselves struggling to keep on top of the growing task of dispatching our orders. As a predominantly sales business, it became essential that we out-sourced our fulfilment. It’s a big step to take as there is a huge amount of trust needed when you look to find a company to act on your behalf. In our case we deliver to 5* Hotels and they have very high service expectation. So we were more than a little nervous about looking for a company to help, as our reputation would be riding on our decision.

Following-up on a recommendation, Minibar approached JEM. Minibar had experienced troubles with in-house staffing, continuity and deadlines, so we visited the Minibar and were able to offer a solution. We explained that outsourcing your fulfilment requirements would eliminate all of the troubles they had previously experienced. We were able to offer continuity by designating dedicated Warehouse staff members and an Account Manager to them, which also covered any holiday or sickness; something that had not been possible previously. From the start, we have worked closely with Minibar, offering them advice on packing materials and also assembling their product the most efficient way that will keep costs to a minimum. Since working with Minibar, we have had a number of changes along the way from the original specification which we started with – all of which we have adopted smoothly.
JEM have far exceeded our expectations. Their constantly helpful ‘can do’ attitude and professionalism has been a huge benefit in assisting CBD Globe with the launch of our new business.
