Jane Crossman

Jane joined JEM in 2009 after working at the head office of an opticians for 20 years. There, Jane had started in the post room, then worked her way up to the accounts office.

A typical day at JEM for Jane is varied and she often helps other departments too. “Firstly, I start with importing orders into our bespoke system, then printing the vouchers on their varied stationary. The vouchers are then packed in their relevant presentation packs. Some are simple and others are more flamboyant. After that, I deal with any of the client’s queries and requests. I also have a good working relationship with hotels direct, requesting stock if required.”

Jane hasn’t been at JEM long, but she’s already a vital part of the JEM family. “My favourite thing about working at JEM is looking after the client’s needs and the diversity of the job being a cross between warehouse and office work. The people are very friendly and easy to talk to, so there’s a good feeling of comfortability.”

When she’s not providing excellent customer service, Jane loves to spend time with animals, sit down with a great book and enjoy her favourite food – eggs – though maybe not all at the same time!
